Pancit Palabok recipe



I've been a member of Nestle Club for almost 2 years.
First freebie as a new member was 2 Liters of Fresh Milk sent to me from Manila to my home here in the province.

Anyway, I was happy to receive this newsletter from Nestle- a guide in how to make Pancit Palabok!


UPDATE: Nestle just e-mailed video without text of the recipe, so I created a list for you on what to buy exactly.

PALABOK GROCERY LIST

MEAT/WET MARKET SECTION
200 gram ground pork
100 gram of pork bone (buto -buto)
100 g. shrimp (small or medium sized)

CONDIMENTS/SARI-SARI SECTION
2 pcs. of 8 g. MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
250 ml. NESTLE ALL PURPOSE CREAM
tinapa flakes
achuete oil ( we only need 2 tbsp. in this recipe)
chicharon (If you can't find it in the grocery, Lapid's chicharon is a good one!)

VEGETABLE SECTION
kinchay
calamansi (500 g. will do or depends how much you love calamansi on the palabok!)
2 medium size onions (white)
1 medium size garlic

MISCELLANEOUS or YOUR KITCHEN
1 piece of egg
1-2 pieces of tokwa
flour (not too many)
cooking oil
patis


and don't forget the 300 g. of Pansit Bihon (buy the first class one!)
